Hannah’s Prayer of Thanksgiving (1 Samuel 2:1–10) After years of longing for a child, Hannah’s prayer was answered with the birth of Samuel. Her heartfelt prayer of thanksgiving, “My heart rejoices in the Lord,” is a powerful expression of gratitude for God’s blessings and a recognition of His sovereignty.
